My name is Peter Campbell. I was born Peter Wadsworth in Ithaca, NY; grew up in Brookline, Mass., where I was very involved in a Unitarian youth group called LRY (Liberal Religious Youth); worked in numerous restaurants in and around Cambridge, Mass.; played bass and wrote lyrics for a funk/punk band. I lived for a few years in Albuquerque, NM; moved to San Francisco and developed a career in technology management and deployment while developing a hobby as a database/web developer; Ran a popular local computer Bulletin board and acted as SF Bay mail coordinator for a pre-web conferencing system called Fidonet; got married and changed my name to Campbell; wasted no time bringing a boy into the world named Ethan. He's 3 as of this writing in March, 2003. Oh, and somewhere along the way, I became obsessed with a long-gone comic strip called "Krazy Kat".
Here's a picture of me with my wife, Linda, at the Plaza de Toros en Madrid)

We were married in July of 1998 in lovely Jenner, California. We live in Richmond/El Sobrante CA. I manage technology for Goodwill Industries of San Francisco and Linda teaches art, science and scientific illustration to Bay Area children. Ethan was born on June 14th, 1999.

Pet Gallery: Here our former cats, Taxi (Orange + White) and Theora (Calico); and my former two mice (now deceased...), Sammy and Damien. Theora found a new happy home when Ethan was born and Taxi passed away at the healthy age of 18.
I write poetry and short fiction, but haven't done much lately. Here are a few of my older poems:
