Friends and Family URL's

  • Here's my Dad's Polka Band's homepage: Die Polka Schlingels German Band , which he designed.
  • My brother Dennis hawks his best selling Lottery software and web design services at Entertainment On-Line -- quite a one-track family, huh?
  • I work at Goodwill Industries of San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin, Inc..
  • My friends Ben and Susan run Sound Native Planets in Olympia, WA. You can learn a lot and even order a few things at soundnativeplants.com

Krazy Kat Pages

  • Elisabeth Crocker's wonderful essays on Krazy:"To He, I Am For Evva True'": Krazy Kat 's Indeterminate Gender and George Herriman's Krazy Kat
  • The "Kartoonist's Kramp" page has some great sample strips and another take on Herriman.
  • Rick Norwood's homepage for the excellent classic strip reprint magazine Comics Revue features a rare Krazy Sunday strip.  Comics Revue is the only publication currently reprinting Krazy Kat strips.
  • Richard Halegua's Herriman bio contains some apparent inaccuracies - Herriman was well loved by William Randolph Hearst, according to all other accounts I've read, and he never did move to Arizona, although he visited annually, but this is otherwise a good bio and Richard's Comic Art & Graffix Gallery Virtual Museum is a great resource on the web.

Archy + Mehitabel Pages

  • The Don Marquis Homepage is the definitive resource, with generous examples of Archy's wonderful poetry.

  • Little Orphan Annie Home Page
